All of them deserve a round of applause.

This is a exodus of governing by ideological optics vs governing by practicality.

I salute them and the government that currently has both wings trying to frantically reshape the box their supporters are subscribed to .

MPs will move to wherever they think they can have a bigger impact to support their constituents needs.

And guess where that is? Hint: It’s not with the NDP that is currently NOT an official party (amd Boulerice is expected to leave as well), amd it’s not with the CPC who seems to be hellbent on supporting American-style politics and who is now trailing behind in popularity.

Of course, the CPC, NDP, and BQ are now angry because each of them is losing the little of leverage they had.

    3. Carney is earmarking Billions (announced 40B this week) to pour into infrastructure projects for North. Nunavut itself is already getting Canada’s first Arctic University opening in 2030.

The CPC cross overs might have had bad blood with the leadership, but Idlout simply had no other logical choice here. There is no way that her constituents would allow this government to fail. Not under any circumstances.

Apparently she needs a year and a half more as an MP to qualify for the pension, which she may not have managed with a minority gov’t. This move likely gives the Liberals a majority after by-elections, in which case she will be assured of getting the pension.

That’s a lot of money for her, right? So why is no one talking about this?

This is the same person who chose not to trigger an election last year, right?

I look at that photo and just see a bunch of parasites who do very little and receive millions of dollars for it.
