It’s such a neat concept for a movie, and well timed. We kinda live in a world right now where humanity feels almost out of control sometimes, so the concept of a „higher race“ revealing itself feels almost relieving to the psyche
That being said, I can’t see how this movie ends up having a satisfying ending. It feels like most alien movies that are about „uncovering the truth“ either keep the outcome too vague or the reveal ends up being too plain and uninteresting.

I have been avoiding the trailers to avoid spoilers and then you put it right there in the damn title of the post. Bummer.
The greatest gag would be if the Aliens were the same species as E.T
That trailer looked like a parody of an alien movie. I still can’t believe it’s a Spielberg movie lol.

Makes me sad, the work that Emily Blunt has had done, last couple movies I’ve seen her PR for, she’s almost unrecognizable.
The established order of the entire world upended. Ho hum, been there, done that. Maybe the aliens betray themselves by wearing too-large Florsheim dress shoes.
