  1. Sounds like a refueling collision with another US aircraft.

„WASHINGTON, March 12 (Reuters) – A U.S. military refueling aircraft crashed in western Iraq on Thursday, in an incident U.S. Central ‌Command said involved another aircraft but was not the result of hostile or friendly fire.

The United States has surged a large number of aircraft into the Middle East to take part in operations against Iran.

In a statement, U.S. Central Command said it was carrying out rescue efforts after the U.S. KC-135 refueling aircraft went down. The second aircraft landed safely.“

At one point today on Flight Radar there were 12 Stratotankers heading in/from Iraq.

Imagine this under Biden and the 20 year rage fest that would follow if he did anything like this

    > but was not the result of hostile or friendly fire.

As if anyone should believe anything the US military says.

  5. Pete Hegseth is a liar, a fraud, and a coward.

He lied about the war, he lied about killing children, and he lied about lying.

Why should anyone trust a military under his command?

  6. You know, I’m willing to bet this wouldn’t have happened if *somebody* didn’t start an illegal invasion in cahoots with a genocidal maniac, but I’m no expert.

  7. 6 to 8 crew on thr refueling jets and most likey they all death sadly.

So total US soilder death is at least mid 30 most likey even more with tham not realsing number or claming staate side exsidends.

  8. The Desert One fiasco may have sunk Carter’s presidency, and this is just business as usual under Trump.

    >U.S. Central Command released a statement Thursday afternoon saying both aircraft were involved in the same incident, and it was not caused by hostile fire or friendly fire.

They run into each other then?

More needless death in service of the biggest fucking idiot on Earth.

Refueling tanker. That may have been a crew from McConnell AFB stationed in Wichita, Kansas where a fleet of refueling aircraft are stationed. That’s my little home..

Maybe a botched refueling? Very sad news.

No flags at half-staff, no call for unity and healing for our loss. Just callous fuckery, and hate!

  13. Yeah. Something like 60% of military people voted for Trump. Elections have consequences. Enjoy the danger fam.

  14. Hey, the orange shit stain said some will die, and that just comes with launching an illegal war. Then he went golfing. What else do you want him to do?!!!

The article misses an important point. These planes don’t have parachutes for the crew. They were removed way back in 2008 since they were seen as unnecessary.

From what I’ve read, These tankers don’t have any way to eject or bail out. No parachutes either…there’s no successful way to do it so crew is basically SOL.

“Recovery efforts are underway in the area where a Boeing KC-135 Stratotanker crashed. The status of the crew is unknown at this time. A second Stratotanker was damaged but landed safely. “

  17. Fl0riduh_Man on

There’s no parachutes in that aircraft.

Condolences to all the dead, bring these folks home and prosecute the command chain all the way to POTUS

Welp everything’s bad but at least kamala is for they them right

I just don’t understand how someone who isn’t monitoring this administration daily and doesn’t interact with politics via social media is moved to care.

I for one can’t help but follow the shit show, and even I feel hopeless. What moves the needle if this corrupt shit show stays in power, or better yet manufactures the results in their favor?

I just don’t see a way out, and I’m an optimist on most regards. I go to local protests and get a reality check for how little people either know or care.

two of our planes crashed mid air, they are dead, all they do is lie, our government and our military is incompetent

iran is wrecking israel with motorcycle engine drones, lol

  22. Status of the crew is they are dead US KC-135 pilots don’t have ejection or parachutes.

  23. CluelessCap on

So these lads were refueling up other planes that would then fly over and bomb Iran?

  24. wherere_my_pants on

That aircraft has a crew of 6-10 I believe. Depending on how long their day might be and where they originated. The fact they have said nothing is a travesty at this point.

  25. I remember the failed hostage rescue at the embassy in Iran, under Carter, and the images released. Burt corpses of US solders was unsettling then, and I expect it to be equally unsettling now.

But, some might argue that Carters mission was justified despite the consequences, while these casualties/prisoners will be exploited due to a poorly planned distraction to divert from, well you know.
