Not surprising. Normally there’s long lead-ups to conflicts, with clear signposts and objectives. This allows for contingency planning.

They’re in turmoil at how they’re going to spend all their money, more like.

Octopus Energy have always been on the ball on this and managed to ride out the wave better than anyone else.
They’re the biggest energy supplier in the UK and have a history of bailing out smaller failed energy companies.
