Ich habe vor 2 Monaten die Staatsbürgerschaft erhalten. Kürzlich habe ich einen Reisepass beantragt, aber als ich zur Polizei ging, um Fingerabdrücke und einen Ausweis abzugeben. Sie sagten, dass meine Bewerbung ausgesetzt sei. Sie müssen meinen Militärstatus überprüfen. Auch von den finnischen Streitkräften habe ich keinen Brief erhalten. Ich bin neu in diesem Bereich und brauche einen Rat.

Contact them and ask about it
Basically you won’t get passport before you have either done conscription service, civilian service or you are excempted from those. Find the nearest regional office „aluetoimisto“ and contact them about the situation.

To me it looks like you have no reason for military clearance and thus they must limit the passport validity until your 28th year of age. If you are between 28 and 30, I guess they refuse the passport altogether until you do your 6 months service or similar, and that situation could really screw your travel plans outside EU in near future.
get ready for service, thats the price you pay for citizenship.

Congratulations! You get the priviledge to serve this country for all the good it gives you. Don’t be afraid of conscription, it is a good experience and would be beneficial for each and every individual.
