So it wasn’t just a rumor.
Preparations for „signal“ began.

Been seeing a ton more of these. It’s clear they’re now starting to work their way well down the target hierarchy. Would not want to be openly standing a post like this if I were these guys. They’re going to have to start to stay mobile and blend in to not get hit and at that point they’re basically having to go underground….
I find the rumors the Israelis have drone factories/depots inside Iran fascinating too and there have been small drone strikes on these checkpoints that I wonder where the drones came from seems too far in the country.
And what happened to the large units we saw in January destroying protestors? My guess is they already can’t gather like that anymore. For several reasons. Most of these checkpoints barely look to even be squad size. Yet they claim to have 600,000 Basij (plus 25 million reserves) alone?

It is very clear to me as well that Israel does not give a damn about civilians. There are civilians all around and yet the green light is given.
I do not like the Iranian regime for obvious reasons but this is not how you win the hearts and minds of a population I can guarantee you that.
The fact no one even mentions this is worrying.
That car that drove by could be filled with a family, those other cars as well, but let the downvotes come, means justify the end according to some.

Not sure this is how you win over their hearts and minds. Still seems like there is no end game. And these video montages are pretty expensive. Especially since we cant even secure the straight or even escort tankers.

Can someone explain the logistics of this? Are the ordnances from the drone itself? Where do they rearm? I mean, if they have to fly hundreds of miles back and forth for 4 bombs, it’s not very effective.

This is ripe for killing civilians just going about their day. You can see this is being done in busy streets full of civilians.
This will not lead to some quack uprising, but will increase hate for the attackers.

This is essentially the same pinpoint strikes tactic as in Gaza. Which have failed to remove Hamas to date. There is a small difference, however, in that Hamas enjoys popular support, while the Iranian government doesn’t. Maybe the difference can yield better results. However, both Hamas and the Iranian government are ruthless, and will kill anyone that gets in their way. So, I’m not particularly optimistic.
That being said, reducing a formal government to acting like a terrorist organization that needs to burrow underground to survive can be argued as a win, though I’m not sure what benefit it yields, if it doesn’t lead to government collapse.

How do the „spotters“ get the information to the drone operators? There must be informants on the ground somewhere.

I see videos, yet I doubt the evidence.
This is a three parties conflict in which no side is trustworthy when it comes to information warfare. Footage might well be legit, but ofc you only show the ones you’re doing good in, so I wouldnÄt count on this being representative for this war.
