      It is normal to ask „where are you from?“ You are going to share the same house.

      In my opinion Name and Shame… but that is sadly not easily done without legal troubles.

      If its a public website you could possibly at least share the username so some people may be warned.

      You can actually sue them for discrimination if they reject you, even if you didn’t want to go there

      Thats definitely not normal. Ich finde es übrigens gut wie du ihm zurück geschrieben hast. Ich hätte wahrscheinlich seine ganze Sippe beleidigt
