      The amount of people that goes to Andorra for Skiing and comes back with a hefty bill….

      What do you mean by free roaming?
      Phone roaming? If it is, the UK is not on it but call network companies just chose to offer free roaming there eitherway

      (Also not the map: Monaco. I don’t know the roaming situation, but it’s so small you can connect to French networks basically everywhere in the principality)

      My Telefonica/OS2 based german provider has extended the UK inclusion in the roaming area year by year since brexit. So it is advisable to re-check your EU provider each year your before traveling to UK.

      „Free roaming“ means that the use of voice/sms/data in those countries is dealt equivalent as if it was used in your home country. You still pay for your local plan and limits of flatrates still apply.

      Also there usually is some „fair use“ policy to prevent „misuse“. Which would for example be to buy a cheaper plan in another country and use it mainly via roaming in your home country.

      Edit:

      Don’t forget that some ferry and cruise ship companies may have „local networks“ on their ships which are excluded from the roaming as well. This may apply even when traveling between EU Member states, i.e. via Ferry from Germany to Norway.

      There’s no cell phone service in Iceland. People have to either use a landline, or send a crow.

      I use a UW carrier (UK virtual carrier), they offer free roaming (14GB per month) in the EU/EEA + Switzerland, Monaco, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Gibraltar. Only Andorra is not covered

      As someone with slight colour blindness this isn’t MapPorn, this is terrible. I had to use my color blindness software to use different settings before I could make out there are actually 3 different hues of blue quite close to each other. Terrible decision, I asked my SO who isn’t colour blind in any way and she also said it wasn’t a great choice. Either make the darker blue even darker and the lighter even lighter to create more contrast or simply use different colours altogether, just like the UK.
