I’m curious how the poll was conducted. If it’s just random Greek residents, foreigners can easily be overrepresented here.

I’m honestly shocked that *only* 73% of ethnic Greeks would be fully in support of this action.

Person from Greece here. The people who disagree, probably do so because of a discourse going online that the army is there to protect the British bases. There are even „rumours“ on social media like Facebook, that says the ships agreed to sail to Israel.

Of course, it’s not really founded on any actual fact, but some people believe these things.

Well the people asked are not exclusively Greek, but residents of Greece in general and I guess that that plays a role.
