What dangers?
# „Possibly due to lack of awareness of the dangers“
it sounds like the Gvt wrote this lol
They’d better SA minors , just a fine and bail , a promotion if lucky. Classic Japanese laws
„the dangers“ of weed! Rofl. Like you can go to jail? Because that’s the only „danger,“ especially when compared to alcohol. Typical DARE callback headline.
This title isn’t biased at all! 🙄
I always find it funny how some people want to live in Japan because of its social order and lack of drug addicts roaming the streets, but they also think Japan is too retrograde for not allowing drugs into the country.
Well that’s one way to deal with your labor shortage, force them to work in prison because they did something basically harmless. Ruining the lives of young people, something Japan doesn’t exactly have a huge surplus of last time I checked….
FWIW I really hate people smoking weed in public, but DGAF what they do in private.
It smells awful, you know?
In the grand scheme of things that’s hardly much, even considering it’s only those who got arrested. Not nearly enough for the government to rethink their current stance. I figure what will happen is when there are significantly more users the government will legalize it while at the same time heavily taxing it, maybe even handing its control over it to Japan Tobacco, which is government-adjacent. I even see an interim “marijuana only for foreigners” phase
No kidding holmes… lack of awareness and marijuana are like conjoined siamese twins.
Legalize schrooms, the wanna can come later. Wayyy later.
Damn boomers were right! We just lack awareness!
Must be foreigners
What dangers? Lol
Oh my god, did many of those teens accidentally eat too much pizza or take a nap??
