      Maybe Ukraine could have elections too? Right now they have a dictator who refuses to allow elections by having perpetual martial law.

      Orbán’s been playing this “anti-woke crusader” angle for years, and Ukraine’s become his favorite punching bag since it polls well with his base

      Orban’s hostility toward Zelenskyy is caused by cheap Russian oil and that Orban and his *frens* can sell oil products to the Hungarian people at average EU prices, putting the difference in their pockets. Free money, yeah.

      From Ukraine’s standpoint, it’s right that Ukraine can’t allow Hungary to access pipeline that carries Russian oil through Ukraine. Hungary escalates by withholding approval of EU loan for Ukraine and taking Ukrainian hostages.

      It’s tough for Ukraine to fight the war while being antagonized by Hungary.
