How to get past the paywall: Open the article in Firefox (or a firefox fork) and activate reader mode (little page icon on the right hand side of the address bar), then refresh the page.
They’re trying to exempt federal parties from data privacy laws, allowing them to „self regulate“ what they do with your data.
of course they downplay it, pesky people are getting in their way.
