He was part of Orbans party for a long time for a reason. I don’t expect to much from him.

My prediction is that relationship with the EU will be a little better and the relationship with Russia a little worse. But it’s a step in the right direction.

He will inherit a population that has been forse fed disinformation about the EU and Russia. So that will leave him little room to manoeuvre.
Hungarians a scared of Russia and any involvement with the Ukraine war. So framing Magyar as someone who will get Hungary into a war with Russia will hurt him electorially. My bet is that Orban and the Russians are working on such a scenario.
