I guess. Jane Austen only got ten years on there though!
I think Wildlife is the best of the options.
That being said, I don’t think a country being so petrified by it’s own history is particularly promising.
Is this to hide from history, and further self flagellate. Or to celebrate the countries wildlife?
Some people will still lose their shit that it’s the wrong owl.
There better be a squid on one, else I’ve been calling quids ‘squids’ for nothing all these years!
Great idea in ensuring the encouragement
narrative to protect native wildlife and fauna a natural ecosystem of the land. I’ve been living in New Zealand and we have the same. For example on the 5$ note we have sir Edmund Hillary with a mountain range on the other side along with an emperor penguin. As opposed to Winston Churchill and the glorification of the exploits British empire and the wars. Sometimes it also shows what we are protecting.
