Shame that no one in the private sector wants to build a new oil pipeline.
Imagine if the government had a state-owned energy company which would build pipelines to all corners of the country, along with the associated refinery infrastructure. Imagine if this crown corporation kept all the profits to benefit the public instead of offshoring it to shareholders.
Maybe we could call this a National Energy Program?

I also saw on Facebook today Canada asking for opinions on protections for marine mammals. I’m guessing they want us to say „meh who cares“ to open the way for more oil and pipelines and stuff. Most of the comments were „seals are eating all mah fish!!!“ sooo yeah, not great outlook for marine mammals…

Just be sure to consult with First Nations for obligatory 25 years / 29 billion lawyer fees before proceeding.

Nothing happens without the First Nation mafia. They should just say how much $$$ they want in addition to our homes here in BC.

Can we be proactive instead of reactive for a change.

Why are we still exploring? Didn’t Carney “prioritize” this a year ago. Why is everything so damn complicated and regulated in Canada? It’s unreal.

Let’s build some infrastructure to upgrade and refine in house. Then we might be able to sell the damn stuff without the major discount we give to EVERYONE.

Let’s designate as much as facilities allow for domestic use and then to our actual allies as the orange stain has effected them. Limit output to the US. Aren’t the Enbridge and Yellowstone pipelines due for shut down for inspection and maintenance that will take a cpl weeks at minimum??

:O do we like Alberta now Quebec?

Can’t produce oil and save the environment at the same time. Net zero 2030 was never gonna happen anyway 🤣
