People are always surprised at the huge number of Latin Americans with recent Middle-Eastern heritage. Especially the Lebanese, Palestinians, and Syrians.

Fun fact, the well known leader of El Salvador Nayib Bukele is Arab-Salvadorian. And Arab-descended people have made it to very high positions of power in many Latin American countries

  3. Syrian diaspora is when only the syrians born in syria who came to Turkey 5 years ago and anyone with a single syrian grandparent from 2 generations ago in latin america
