People are always surprised at the huge number of Latin Americans with recent Middle-Eastern heritage. Especially the Lebanese, Palestinians, and Syrians.
Fun fact, the well known leader of El Salvador Nayib Bukele is Arab-Salvadorian. And Arab-descended people have made it to very high positions of power in many Latin American countries
