      I Hungarian, I don’t think „kedd“ has anything to do with second day (második nap).

      Funny that you say that, in Bulgarian, Vtornik contains the word Tor, which is our version of Thor. So it means both „Second day“ and „Day of Thor“.

      Tor also means fertilizer so it can be interpreted as the day of shit.

    3. Tuesday in Welsh is Dydd Mawrth, can be translated as Day of Mars, so should be in red I suppose.

      Basque days of the week used to be made of just 3 days so the week starts on monday and finishes on Wednesday, that’s why Tuesday is ‚middle of the week‘. Then the different calendars were introduced and 4 new days were included just to fit with the 7 day weeks.

    5. In Iceland there’s no Tuesday. They decided it’s probably the shittiest day of the week and got rid of it. Now they just do two Wednesdays in a row.
