It does seem McPherson’s French is a lost cause. She’s been in parliament a while, and if you don’t have good French after that, it’s unlikely you ever will. Some people just can’t learn it.
I struggle to see how she won’t drag the party back into the liberal-lite optics that Jagmeet was criticized for.
