      I can understand why oil-less countries would feel the need to do so. However, it is deeply unsettling that we’re at day 10 and there’s still no sign of a US effort to fix the mess they’ve made.

      Is Europe really just about to walk away from Ukraine and get involved in a land war in Asia? Congrats, a decade down the line Russia will be closer (while flooding your cyberspace with misinformation), and foreign oil will still be a stupid source of energy vulnerability.

      This whole war is a sad farce. Europe does not need to embrace it.
