Haben sich Einwanderer für Englisch entschieden – oder wurden sie von den französischen Schulen in Quebec verdrängt?

Some people seems to want immigrants to already „be Quebecer“ even before they arrive in Quebec…or it’s the not-so-implicit way of homogenizing our society.

They expect immigrants to juggle a new uprooted life, trying to find a job, organizing all the admin stuff of living in a new society, AND gives them 6 months to be proficient in French.

Even when people have French as their first language, they are sometimes forced to yet pass a French test, a test that even francophones in Quebec would have difficulties to pass.
