The US is a major exporter of oil, shouldn’t this be in the US interests? Europe, Israel and china probably doesn’t like it

The US kinda in a good position for that.  They’re the largest oil producer and most wells need oil prices very high to be profitable.

Plus they just secured the country with the largest oil reserves in the world too.

This is a threat that would only work on a 2006 America, not 2026 America.

    4. Brent crude hit $114 this morning. This war is on track now to have the same economic effects of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Trump blamed Biden for all those negative economic events but it wasn’t Biden’s fault it was Russia’s.

This war is 100% Israel & Trumps USA fault. There was no need for it at all. Iran was no where near getting a nuke, there missiles can’t really hit most of Europe, never mind the USA. Iran was only a real threat to its own people, no one else.

This was the USA getting dragged into Israel’s unquenchable thirst for revenge vs Iran. Israel don’t give a fuck about anyone except themselves and will happily watch the world burn, as long as the biggest fire is Iran and its allies.

    5. “In order to protect the interests of the United States and ensure stability in global energy markets, the United States has decided to launch a ground invasion of Iran.” -Some news report in the near future.

God this is some bullshit. Fuck everyone who voted for this guy, stayed home, or voted 3rd party.

    6. Oh don’t worry, the people making the decisions can afford $200 oil; it’s just the rest of us whom they “represent” who are well-fucked.

    7. If only we’d invented self sufficient ways to make energy that don’t throw our ecconomies into the crapper every time someone in the middle east or Russia has a tantrum. If that had been available AND already cheaper than fossil fuels, I’m sure we would’ve seen the wisdom in developing that. Totally wouldn’t have acted like a bunch of children laughing at the very thought of it while chanting drill baby drill like ignorant lunatics…

In war, we have the strategy of controlling the narrative to attack the psyche of the international community. This is nothing new.

    10. The fact that we are even reading stories like this is the insane. The disruption to our lives. The loss of life, the uncertainty and uncertain future. This is already unpopular and wars don’t become more popular over time – ooo I forgot, it’s not a war, but it is, ooo no it’s not . Our own “leaders” who got us into this misadventure can’t even tell us what and why we are bombing Iran for. Not a consistent message anyway.

If I hear the he was a bad dude bs one more time – in that case I expect Russia, Turkey, and North Korea to be next.

    11. How about the US population just stands up for themselves and put this cunt in jail? He’s a pedo, rapist and murderer……what are you waiting for? Congress approval or something? You all talk loud about your rights, when it comes down to it, you just bend over and take It 😔

    12. Just think how different this would be if SOMEONE wasn’t down on windmills and other forms of alternative power generation.

    13. I mean…. the US and Israel can handle this a lot better than, say, China, India, and Iran’s other BRICS friends.
