      CNN has this story as well but it says the video shows the missile striking the base next to the school.

      I can only think about this story in small doses. I have a slightly older daughter than this age and it makes me ill to think about the grief of these parents, who not that it matters (bc in fact they are kids regardless) are not the regime but ruled by the regime.

      I’m not naive, it’s a dog eat dog world and there will be battles, I wasn’t butt hurt when we slaughtered a platoon of Cubans to get maduro. But I wish all soldiers and leaders would have a wide berth for protecting all children.

      I mean, if the Secretary of War is going to say in an official capacity that they’re going to be „unleashing the most **lethal and precise** airpower campaign in history“ and observing „no stupid rules of engagement“, and then a school gets hit, I’m going to assume they did that on purpose.

      The school was hit in their initial premptive attack is my understanding as well – meaning it was definetly not Iran.
