      Hegseth is backed by southern Christian nationalist who think war with Iran is necessary to trigger the “The End Times”. Problem is that if this conflict lasts into midterms and oil prices surge he may be replaced like Noem.

      He’s so unhinged I can’t tell whether he understands hes diposable (or) if he thinks he’s doing a perfect job because Trump certainly doesn’t give af about Jesus or holy wars.

      I’ve noticed a schism this week. Hegseth sat on the Shawn Ryan show and told the MAGA community that the U.S. was done getting involved in endless engagements in the Middle East. Members of Ben Shapiro’s media empire are turning on this war; Shawn Ryan turned on the president. The huge media empires that helped elect Trump are turning around and openly against him and the war. That’s a major shift.

      I get the feeling that no matter what you ask Hegseth, the answer ends up sounding the same. Like if you asked him to pass the salt or what time it is, within a paragraph he’d be talking about how tough and dominating and hard and on top he is.

      Let’s ask the real questions here, how does Trump and Co. make a successful u-turn out of this debacle? Oil is already trading at $115/barrel, and there is no way in a free and fair election that Americans will pay $4.00/ for gas, drive to the polling station, and vote for the same party that caused it.

      Trump is a crazy old man. He seems to treat war like a game and shows little concern for the people who are dying. Anything beyond neutralizing nuclear capabilities is something no one can justify. It puts the United States and its allies at risk, and he should not be allowed to continue serving as President of the United States.

      This is… not how any of that is supposed to work. Strikes on any nation should be a last resort when all else has failed, and should be used with a calculated eye to cease them at the first possible sign of conciliation. Because they KILL INNOCENT PEOPLE.

      And they’re *surely* not supposed to be an open-ended manic campaign cheered on by a drunken warmonger woo girl who is ROCK HARD RIGHT NOW telling you about all the Iranians he’s totally gonna murder.
