    1. Unproven Trump autism claim affected care: Research

President Trump’s urging of pregnant women to avoid taking Tylenol last year on the unfounded claim that it could be linked to autism in children resulted in a notable drop in orders for the common over-the-counter medication among pregnancy-related emergency department visits, according to an analysis published this week.

The study, published in The Lancet medical journal, looked at hospital data of emergency department visits in the months before and after Trump warned in September against taking acetaminophen while pregnant.

    2. If I were Tylanol, I would sue him personally for loss of sales directly linked to his own words.

Yet another reason for women to avoid getting pregnant: you run the risk of not receiving care you need to survive and now doctors are going to let you sit in pain because a dude who admitted to eating road kill for fun and snorting crack off toilets said they shouldn’t give you pain meds based on complete psuedo science

Kimberly-Clark then proceeded to buy Kenvue (owns Tylenol and others) for a heavily discounted price. Afterwards, the Dept of Health backed off on the autism claims. It all seems a bit suspicious.

    5. The problem is that Trump’s appeal (while completely untrue) is that he’s not beholden to the politicians or billionaire pharmas. They believe what he says because of that, despite any actual science. He literally makes things up on the spot, and people think he knows something. It is so damn depressing.

    6. As an autistic person, who has dealt with the stigma my condition affords me at every turn throughout my life so far, I am pretty tired of it being used as amunition by the far right and their constant agenda pushing baseless claims.

    7. I again like to remind everyone that *Asperger’s Syndrome* was described ***before*** Tylenol existed.

    8. It’s amazing to me people listen to this man despite him being a well known liar and cheat his entire life. The evidence is there. They don’t want to even try and see why this is wrong.
