I feel the graph is unfair on the Baltic States. Estonia economy has grown massively at an even higher rate than Poland, it’s a tiny country. Ukraine and Belarus thanks to Russia have not grown and declined if anything since 1990. Ukraine also had 50 million people at independence in 1991 now it’s 37 million. I do want to add though Poland is one of the best run countries in Europe and is a template for the rest of Eastern Europe.
