I thought it was always said that the first F16 will come when Belgium received its first operation-ready squadron of F35, in the meantime older belgian F16 were used for spare parts for Ukraine
Pledging is just a cheap way to get a sound bite, actual deliveries are what really counts. Everything else is just political nonsense.
No point in any more f16 if Ukraine does not have missiles for them. Flying them just to use machine gun to shoot down drones seems to be uneconomical for Ukraine
