      I guess we’re really doing this. We’re going into Iran … on the ground. This is going to be a bad war and one we cannot extricate from. Goddamn it.

      Picking up Maduro (who had probably cut a deal) and taking tonnes of uranium from a hostile land will be two different tasks altogether.

      They’re gonna need to send the special forces and a bunch of equipment operators. There is satellite images going back weeks that show that Iran has covered all the entrances of their facilities in case they get bombed so they can just dig them out later. So it’s not like special forces can just run in and grab the uranium. They would have to spend days using equipment to dig out the entrances to these facilities.

      This is literally impossible especially at Natanz.
      The US itself basically knocked out the entire centrifuge system and buried the enriched uranium underground and the Iranians made little progress in retrieving it themselves.
      The one at Isfahan may be more accessible as the facility was mostly above-ground but I doubt landing special forces at a facility close to one of Iran’s largest cities and IRGC centers will exactly go well!!

      How about some operational secrecy? Its a pretty wild thing for US to do right now at this stage of the war so we might have caught them by suprise if we didnt announce it on social media?!?! This administration is insanely terrible at being evil yet again

      Sending special forces to;

      Arial insert hundreds of miles behind enemy lines.
      Break into underground complex.
      Fight through miles of underground tunnels you have no idea where they go.
      Locate and know that you got all the enriched uranium that weights close to 7 tonnes.
      Take 7 tonnes of weights out of an underground tunnel complex while under fire.
      Make it to a helicopter extraction without losing any choppers.
      Load tonnes of uranium.
      Escape.

      This is not a video-game protagonist guys its real life.

      I’m so glad my tax dollars go towards reckless behavior that surely won’t blow up in our face and get Americans killed. I would be pissed if those dollars went towards programs that actually help Americans.
