Why does the title state „UAE airbase“ when the first sentence of the article is „Iran said it struck a U.S. air base in the United Arab Emirates on Saturday,“
Just to clarify.. It was a US base that was located IN the UAE…a UAE base implies that Iran struck the UAE military

As far as Iran considers, a US airbase in the UAE counts as territory of the country that is attacking them and doesnt qualify as part of the UAE, their neighbor.
Basically embassy rules applies here. A US airbase in UAE is considered sovereign territory of the USA.
This is ridiculous. The US is firing from these countries. Ofcourse theyre gonna shoot back where the shots came from.

theres no central command, from what i understand each ‚group‘ in iran operates independently. i think thats why they could shut their own internet off and still operate fine

They didn’t say they wouldn’t hit neighbors, they said they would only hit neighbors if they were supporting US attacks on Iran.
