It must be frustrating interviewing someone who lies so readily. For example, Smith says:
>The “Forever Canadian” one, as you mentioned, is in a little bit of a different territory, because the proponent initially said he wanted it to go to referendum, that was what the petition said, but then after he got the signatures, he said he just wanted it to go to a vote of the legislature.
It’s obviously a lie, because in [this interview](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X7jOjRvE0Hk&t=85s), from before the Forever Canadian petition even started collecting signatures, Lukazuk says that his goal is to force Danielle Smith and the UCP to take a clear position on separatism in the legislature.
