      When you are loosening sanctions to allow Russia to sell oil to fund their war against Ukraine, it fucking matters.

      Trump started this idiocy without planning for the repercussions; among them skyrocketing gas prices. Now, as gas prices jump 30% and the approval for this war falling the same, he wants to sell out the troops he needlessly put into danger?

      Russia is helping Iran kill Americans and Trump wants to let Russia, whose war economy is on its last legs, enrich itself off oil sails so they can keep killing Ukrainians, and offer Iran more help killing Americans?

      Treason is tossed around too often, but enriching a country that is helping to kill Americans reaches that threshold. Bad enough Trump sucked up to Putin when he was at war with our ally, an ally whose expertise in drone warfare we desperately need, but he is killing our soldiers now.

      Don’t care that the war was a mistake. That gets no quarter, and Trump wants to pay the man.

      This is Russia getting back at US for providing Ukraine with missiles, ordinance, and intel. It made all the difference, so *it does matter* that Russia is helping Iran, just not to trump.

      You know what I find interesting? I’m posting this comment 32 minutes after the initial post. There are already 2 comments on here (one from a 28 day old account) essentially saying it’s hypocritical for us to get upset because we have been helping Ukraine.

      Now we know the script. And the bots/deplorables are out in full swing. Don’t engage and get whipped up trying to argue against bad faith actors. We all know that Agolf Shitler is an absolute traitor to our country. Ukraine was invaded by a dictator who is truly evil. These two are the worst of the worst and a match made in hell.

      WTF, but we’re going to cancel all trade and pull an “American Fries” in Spain for saying not my monkeys, not my circus (a classic MAGA stance(maybe MSGA)  with regards to some other country’s sudden war of choice.?

      If I was a Spaniard, I’d much rather be eating my tapas at the beachside bar with a great cheap domestic wine without worrying about suicide bombers.

      As an older Gen Xer, I remember when the Russians were seen as the bad guys. Government’s even came up with all sorts of catchy slogans for us so we didn’t forget that. Huh, go figure.
