Thought the score was -4 for the Kuwaiti military by now, still just -3

People are saying that Kuwaiti pilot shot down three American F-15 Strike Eagles. I don’t understand how you shoot at an allied plane once when you are in visual range, let alone THREE of them.

  3. I suppose that’s what happens when Hegseth says none of those ‘stupid rules of engagement’.

Wait so this was a friendly fire incident??!! Is the the only US aircraft lost so far??

  5. Now I am quite sure that this Kuwaiti pilot was an anti-Israel, anti-US, pro-Gaza individual who wanted to cause as much damage to this invasion to help free Palestine. Maybe I am jumping to conclusions, but I’d be willing to bet on that.

Could sort of understand a friendly fire incident if there was an IFF issue or failure and they were out of visual range, but they should’ve been able to visually confirm in this instance.

At least the crews survived this.

  7. Well that seals it for me. Intentional act. Within visual range, F-15E. Only „allies“ fly Eagles. I hope this guy is in a cell right now. How could he even fly home after this?

How many blue on blues now? No wonder Starmer doesn’t want the RAF involved

  9. There are obviously some poeople in Kuwait air forces that do not like Americans and took opportunity to practice jihad on them?

  10. Kuwaiti F18 Pilot: *”Wait…does Iran have F14 or F15’s again??? Aww fuck it.”*

  11. So, does this count as A-A loss then? I mean it is technically, but it’s also not very fair.

It’s such a shit show like every war but this one is next to the Ukraine war the second biggest shit – it’s just shit all together!

Aint no way this shit was an accident if it was 1 and the same F18 shooting all 3 of them

  14. Well, who cares about vision requirements when your uncle is well connected. „Sure, you can be a pilot“.

This is undoubtedly intentional friendly fire.

    1. This is very close range (like knife fight range) for modern air combat. You can see the planes clearly and you would know exactly what you are looking at.
    2. JHMCS would be used to so quickly acquire and shoot all 3 down in quick succession.
    3. The workflow for JHMCS, is literally **look**, shoot, **look**, shoot, **look**, shoot. So he would have to physically look at each target, highlighted with targetting info displayed right in front of him to fire.
    4. I’m not sure, but I think IFF might be slaved to the JHMCS as well, so you may need to over-ride the friendly warning to forcibly fire the missiles.

The guy just wanted to take some Americans down and the intrusive thoughts got the better of him.

A week ago I said it would be swift. Outside of accidental friendly fire by the Kuwaitis, zero aircraft or naval assets have been downed by the IRCG. And it will continue to be that way.

Complete air superiority will be established by next Friday.

  17. Can someone explain to me why their pilots are dog walking ours? That was visual range didnt our pilot recognize he was being engaged? Genuinely asking

I don’t know much about what a fighter jet pilot needs to do exactly to shoot down another jet… But I find it highly unusual that the missiles were fired from so close without identifying that huge F15 properly which the Iranian airforce doesn’t operate… What could’ve gone wrong for the events to have unfolded like this???

Bro, at this point, someone needs to check what side Kuwait is on…shit is ridiculous
