I don’t get why this has been allowed to become such an issue over here, but I guess political parties are just too addicted to that diaspora vote to do anything about it. Like, it’s just absurd to be hosting „referendums“ and people killing each other over some country that is never going to exist. These Hindu/Sikh nationalists are so absurdly proud of countries which they wouldn’t even want to live in, and it should be called out more.
Other sources are saying it’s a domestic incident.
A random account saying it was good isn’t some organization claiming credit.
This is just an attempt to slander or malign Sikhs like we used to see 15+ years ago.

A moderate Canadian Sikh is implicitly one who cuts his hair. Christians forcefully cut the hair of indigenous Europeans and First Nations in the past as a display of dominance.
