In a world where the usual rules of engagement were not just swept aside because „we have the longest“, it would be the US frigate in the area that would have been first to help the shipwrecked.

This is not a military intervention, this is humanitarian aid.

Honorable and virtuous act by the two governments involved.
Good on ya all for doing the right thing here.

Helping those that need it is always a good thing.

What are the rules for engagement? When you bomb a ship, are you expected to save the sailors from drowning?

      India helps EVERYONE.

Pretty much every disaster and every war zone can count on India sending a care package for the common public suffering there.

    5. The US blew up that ship unprovoked. It was sitting 30 nautical miles off the coast of Sri lanka (next to India) almost 2000 nautical miles away from the straight of hormuz.

    6. The Iranian ship was in India, at the invitation of India, unarmed, with the ship and sailors inspected by the President of India as part of a naval event. America was invited too, but pulled last minute, and sent their officers. These sailors met the people here, bought souvenirs, and were killed after they departed. Had India not invited them, they would not have been killed by an American submarine that knew all this was happening. It’s disrespectful, but to be expected from the cunts running this clown show.

Destroying a ship and killing people in basically a random place is first class shittines

The vessel waited for 11 hours about 40 nautical miles off Galle port for permission from the Sri Lankan government to berth at Galle port, as it had difficulties returning to Iran due to the conflict situation. Why didn’t the government allow permission for such a long time?” SJB MP Mujeebur Rahman questioned in Parliament regarding the IRIS Dena, which was attacked by a US submarine on Wednesday.  Source :  [https://x.com/NewsWireLK/status/2029492986409848930?s=20](https://x.com/NewsWireLK/status/2029492986409848930?s=20)
