If it’s a warship, it’s a legitimate target.

I read they also were unarmed as part of the agreement to take part in this exhibition. Does anyone know if that is true.

As an Australian, I can’t determine who are the good guys in this conflict. We should stay the fuck out of this insanity

Its right in the title „Warship“ on its way home to participate in a war. And you know that the wreckage will prove that its armed as well. They always are

Were they supposed to inspect it for weapons first? This is war, not a police shooting.
Their dumbass fault for being an unarmed warship. Lmfao

After the exibition the captain should have sailed for a neutral port, probably in India. what did he think was going to happen with 2 carrier groups around Iran.

This was a bitch move by the US. Unarmed warship coming back home from a declared war exercise in India. Dozens of countries participated in the exercise and US was invited.

I think this war is stupid and will have long-term negative impacts on the US and its allies.
However, the boat was a valid military target in a war. There also isn’t a requirement (at least per the people I’ve seen who are knowledgeable on the matter) for the US to rescue anyone that was on the boat.
But I’ll add the disgusting part is it feels like it was merely destroyed for content…

If the ship were American an not armed 1000% you can bet Americans would be crying it was a terrorist attack

What type of ship again?

They made an important asset a target, you always take those.

Kind of confusing to sail a warship that’s just pretending to be a warship for fun through a war zone in the middle of a war.
