The gist of the entire article
*But not Keith Olbermann, who co-hosted ESPN’s “SportsCenter” from 1992 to 1997*
*“Legendary scumbag, yes,” the 67-year-old wrote on X above a video of Holtz criticizing Joe Biden at the Republican National Convention in 2020.*
*Holtz was a vocal supporter of President Donald Trump, who awarded him the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2020.*
Olbermann is not wrong.
Lou Holtz spoke at my high school football dinner at the end of our senior season. He was head coach of Arkansas. He spoke about patriotism and honor….it seemed odd as a 17 year old how that had anything to do with a 9-3 season???
Tell me it’s Keith Olbermann without telling me it’s Keith Olbermann
„Former ESPN host draws criticism“
I thought Lou died five years ago
Honestly, does it come as a surprise that a lot of older college football coaches are very conservative/MAGA? Hell, college football in general has a very conservative base.
Yes, even a “great coach that we previously admired who eventually showed his true colors as a not so decent human,” can bask in the glow of the afterlife!
He ain’t wrong on this one
For the past twenty years or so it seems that Olbermann lives to hate people. It’s not good living with that much animosity towards so many people.
