      Gas prices are one of the things MAGA actually notice and react to, and even if it goes back down again before the mid-terms it damages trust and creates a worry that they don’t want.

      There’s gotta be a gas station in Kansas where you can get gas for $1.99 a gallon in exchange for 10k reward points , at 1 reward point per dollar spent, they can reference to say gas is ‚under $2‘.

      Yeah? I get it… Monday morning, gas prices in my area rose $0.40/gallon in three hours… happily, after I’d filled my tank.

      Gas in the Chicago suburbs went up almost $.50 overnight this week. It’s only going higher and honestly is the least surprising outcome of going to war with Iran.

      Gas prices shot up 40 cents in my city over the weekend. But hey, Trump did say he owned that!

      Since election day 2024 I have taken pictures of the gas pump every time I fill up.

      On election day 2024 gas was $2.74 per gallon.

      Except for a 2-week period almost 6 weeks ago gas prices have been CONSISTENTLY higher.

      This is provably true.

      Anybody who says that gas prices fell during the trump administration either hasn’t been paying attention to what they are actually paying or are intentionally lying.
