      In 2024, nearly sixty percent of all searches on Google were zero-click. Users were satisfied with an answer from Google itself, and did not click on a link. Now, it’s even higher. Google has always made a name for itself as „the website that succeeds by getting you off of it.“ Now, they want you to stay on it.

      Users are no longer web-surfing like they used to: they use shortcuts, they browse fewer, bigger sites. As this trend continues, will we see a decline in googling? Or, will we see the previous action of googling merely an instrument to get us through the Google ecosystem.
