  1. Odd place for a *girls* school specifically, considering Iran’s regime attitudes?

  2. I wonder why they need to refer to NYT for a pretty basic aspect like the schools being on IRGC grounds, but still see no issues with reporting the numbers claimed by Iranian state tv.

Sure, „*according to*“ makes it correct reporting as far as journalism goes, but we all knoe the numbers are treated as a fact on social media.

Also the subtitle assumes targeting of a nearby base, but the experts cited make it sound like the school itself was wrongly targeted? Which makes more sense given that the school itself was hit and not just affected by a blast.

    The TLDR is:

    – Was a school and teachers and students died.
    – Used to be part of a military complex but not for awhile now.
    – Situated near Iranian military targets.
    – Struck multiple times.
    – Struck with precision guided munitions (I.e. Israel or US).
    – Israel says they weren’t familiar with the strike and to check with CENTCOM.
    – CENTCOM didn’t respond.
    – Munitions too precise to be accident; means either CENTCOM intelligence is woefully out of date or the weapons system used sucks even with precision guided munitions.

So it seems like it was the US hitting it multiple times with no actual good reason for why.

Man who raped young girls bombs a school full of them to distract from the former

You can tell it was struck by USA/Israel because they didn’t outright deny it and called it blood libel. It was a double tap strike . Bots were out in full force the whole week spreading disinformation with fake group chats and other lies

  6. No time for double checking targets when you have 5 years worth of tomahawk missiles to burn through in 4 days. 🎵 Ain’t no time to wonder why. Whoopie, we’re all gonna die. 🎶

  7. I’m looking at the before and after pictures and does it seem to anyone else that the after picture of the schools destruction looks very different from every other building they highlight?

  8. Why is the world up in arms now when just a few weeks ago Iran were massacring their own citizens in front of cameras? Does everyone believe zero children were killed? What is it?

So basically the strike on the school is still unverified and likely yo stay that way.

  10. Hubris and an overestimation of one’s capabilities will always lead to failure.

We’re witnessing this exact thing currently.
    History is also repeating itself*

  11. No matter where you are in the world, having a military base that close to a school is unfortunately a bad decision. Would you build one near an explosives manufacturer?

  12. Considering that experts on Iran were sacked right before this totally-not-a-war began, I doubt current intelligence was a concern when planning the attack and nobody noticed or cared that it was converted to a school.

Hopefully that war crime will be brought to an international curt, no need to bomb childs.
