I swear the main problem is they were all losers and are still losers and all of this is happening due to their inferiority complex. Why are all the CEO’s of these companies just these rando schmucks

If the AI bubble deflates—pop or not—then the big AI companies are fucked, but Nvidia can shrink back down to “just” being the current top GPU company. That situation would justify not pouring more money onto the money fire.
But if he were to say “I think the AI bubble’s about to pop”, he’d be tanking Nvidia stock sooner rather than later, and investors would likely sue.
Just saying; I don’t have actual evidence that that’s the case.

I would guess he is pulling back from Anthropic because they declined to be part of government mass surveillance.
I would also guess he is pulling back from OpenAI because they accepted to be part of government mass surveillance.

Every other week this asshole says this shit. And then follows up with another round of investment into AI

I think the explanation answers the question pretty definitively. Both companies are gearing up for an IPO and this is likely their final funding round before that milestone.

it sounds like the bubble that has kept the stock market afloat is about to burst.

At this point, the bubble burst point is so obvious. AI infrastructure (data centers and power generation) are about x100 more expensive to build and run than the profit they’ll make. Even by the time AI takes a bunch of jobs and corporations are dependent on it, the existing data centers will be obsolete and require GPU upgrades, which is another shit ton of needed investment.

It’s because of local inference. That’s the next big wave.

So the money is starting to dry up. I’m guessing that the prediction that the bubble will pop by the end of 2026 might be more like this summer instead?

So, if even the shovel company is pulling back, this will have consequences in the market, right?
( As if, sadly )
