      imagine being Canadian and losing to the us. i neither watch olympics or hockey but i feel for my northern neighbors

      Slightly outdated imo, Jamaica should be Football or Track and Field.

      Cricket has slipped to number 3 there afaik because the Jamaican government hates Cricket for some reason.

      Edit: Also, TIL, Basketball is the biggest sport in the Bahamas. Sad to see Cricket die out there, it’s still their official national sport.

      Edit2: Another TIL, Cricket has not been the Bahaman national sport since 2023, it was voted out in favour of Sailing because Cricket’s popularity had fallen so much.

      I call so much bullshit on Mexico being football. Mexico has a huge basketball culture. Every small town especially in the southern states has a basketball court, that’s maintained.
