This sounds like a miracle drug
This sounds too good to be true.
„The new GLA-3M-052-LS+OVA vaccine can be delivered as a nasal spray. Three doses protected mice from infection from SARS-CoV-2 and other coronaviruses for three months, and reduced the viral load in their lungs 700-fold, compared to unvaccinated mice.
The vaccine also accelerated the mice’s immune response to SARS-CoV-2. While their lungs‘ adaptive immune systems typically take up to two weeks to respond to the [virus](https://www.sciencealert.com/virus), those with the vaccine took as little as three days to launch a counter-attack.
In follow-up tests, the vaccine was also found to protect the animals against bacterial infections. That included *Staphylococcus aureus* and *Acinetobacter baumannii*, both of which are often acquired in hospital settings and are becoming increasingly resistant to antibiotics.
Most surprisingly, the vaccine also cut the risk of asthma. When vaccinated mice were exposed to dust mites, their asthmatic responses, such as increased immune cell production and excess lung mucus, were reduced for three months as well.“
This is either the best thing ever, or the thing that brings about the zombie apocalypse.
At this point, I am onboard for either outcome. Literally can’t make things worse.
Did anyone ask the mice if it had any impact on their sense of smell?
It boosts the immune system, but I’m inclined to assume the immune system is set to its current sensitivity for a reason. And indeed we know the mischief an overactive immune system can get up to.
Seems to good to be true, but the GLP-1 stuff also seemed that way.. and it also seems to be another recent miracle drug. . so maybe this one will be too.
This feels too good to be true.
In 5 years after the whole population is addicted to it’s benefits we will find out something horrific knowing my luck

Is the Umbrella Pharmaceutical corporation involved somehow?
Science alert is a pretty good source but colour me sceptical. Most medications don’t eventuate even with really good animal testing.
flonase spray works like this, so why not?
I got a nasal vaccine before, I’m not sure I’d call it more pleasant than just getting a standard shot.
Sounds like Artificial Superior Intelligence is now working behind the scenes rolling out what would take us hundreds of years to discover, and the breakthroughs are being humanwashed.
I am looking forward to seeing the trials for this, although it does seem like a too good to be true type of thing that will likely not see the light of day for years.
