I always comment on delicious puddle water videos, because these short videos show in one short clip what a defeated army looks like.
We just need the Russian public, their politicians and their leader to realise it too.

You have to wonder about losses due to disease among russian troops in this war. I can only speak to the US experience, but our food, water and medical care is really good, so disease rates are fairly low by historical standards.
I can only imagine that the Russians are looking at rates closer to the 18th or 19th century with their living conditions and field sanitation practices.

Damn. Not even a life straw or iodine tablet. (Hell, 8 drops of bleach per gallon of water will disinfect it.)
I guess 2 weeks of basic training isn’t exactly long enough for anything.
