  1. I know reddit will be upset but he’ll win.  Thats what counts right now.  I wish things were different but for now…

hoping he can win the general election but that counts on people actually voting…

Well it’s nice to see the white male succeed again over the black female. Yawn.

Edit. All right. The dude is great. I get it and agree. I’m just tired of this pitting two perfectly decent candidates against each other. Sorry for expressing my frustration in a stupid way.

Glad to see this guy didn’t go on an AIPAC-funded trip to Israel, unlike Crockett

Very interesting. Both quality candidates, but the tone of Crockett’s campaign and Talarico’s lucky ‚Colbert bounce‘ seemed to make him more likely to prevail ultimately.

Why is the picture of John Cornyn when the title has nothing to do with him?

Honestly the Colbert incident was the absolute best thing that could’ve happened for his campaign. He quickly became *“The man that the Trump Administration doesn’t want you to know about“* and got a MASSIVE signal-boost to his message, which it turns out: people are very fond of.

Nothing against Jasmine Crockett, but Talarico is the correct, best and honestly only legitimate opportunity for flipping Texas.

Only for Dems to waste $200m+ to lose in Texas again while people can’t afford groceries. Then you wonder why they stay home and hate politics.

  9. I just hope he’s not another Trojan Horse like Fetterman. Maybe I’m too cynical but i don’t trust anything political anymore. Nothing stops them from running wolves in sheep’s clothing.

Would it be a realistic thing to think that both Talarico and Crockett could work together? I feel like both are competent, talented brains that could find ways to fit both their agendas representing both parties. That would be something that is needed in the current state of the USA.

  11. I think if Telarico manages to win Texas senate, he is a likely future presidential contender.

I get that he looks weird like a ventriloquist or robot, but that lady is so stupid and annoying, glad she lost.

    Better strategic choice.

Campaign really aged him though, going by the thumbnail.

  14. I’m so fucking tired of people saying Crockett is anything but a shill. “Oh she’s a firebrand!” Really? Is she really? Or is she just loud? Does she talk policy or just about how bad trump is? Does she talk about problems facing Texans or just about how much Trump hates her? What does she actually stand for?

Seriously. I feel like I’m going crazy because so many people have fallen for this grift before and we see the repercussions. She’s just trying to be her own version of Trump. I hope she stays out of politics after this.

  15. I like her and I think he is a good dude. I also think he was able to articulate a Christian vision that a lot of people Christian’s and not found refreshing to hear.

If they want a snowball chance in hell of winning in Texas it needed to be James.
