  1. **From The Associated Press:**

Israel sent additional troops into southern Lebanon Tuesday and ordered residents of more than 80 villages to evacuate as the Iran-backed Hezbollah militant group said it is ready for an open war, escalating the already volatile situation in the region.

The latest exchanges started after Hezbollah fired rockets and drones early Monday toward northern Israel. Cool cool, yeah so this is staying pretty confined then. It will be over soon I’m sure. Right? A quick shift of national regime and suppression of multiple Middle Eastern factions. Super quick and easy, that’s what history has shown.

Also Hezbollah’s current Secretary General is a very brave man, considering how his predecessors‘ exit interviews went.

  6. The biggest question is, what will the Lebanese government and other parties choose to do here. Hezbolah has a lot of enemies, and there is no better time for Lebanon to clean house. But they can’t discount this spiraling into a full on civil war, again.

Why doesn’t the Lebanon army join in on the action? Surely they are tired of these people too right?

There’s people in Hezbollah still left? Didn’t they learn the 3rd time?

  10. On the plus side, maybe this means fewer guns and bombs pointed at Palestinian children.

  11. Yesterday in a thread I said I predict Southern Lebanon will be occupied and got down votes 😭
