Die Markierung wird regelmäßig neben scheinbar alten Wanderwegen angebracht, die nicht auf den Karten erscheinen (weder auf der offiziellen noch auf der OSM-Karte).
Der Weg ist eindeutig kein alpiner Weg und wurde irgendwann absichtlich angelegt.
Einige Markierungen sind mit einer gelben Markierung versehen.
Vielleicht ist es nur für den Waldpfleger gedacht, oder ist das eine alte Art, Wege hier in der Schweiz zu markieren?

the arrow – looks like a forester marking pointing at something for his future self/the next person that works there
the blue and yellow markings – same except it’s something about those trees in particular. Could be a marking it to indicate that it has good potential and shouldnt be harvested yet
For OSM. Be bold, map it yourself.
For SwissTopo map. They mostly map trails visible in the aerial images, same goes for OSM, but in the latter case others can contribute what they see in the field.
Some trails might not be mapped on SwissTopo as they are unsafe. Ex. those in the Fallätsche Uetliberg where people had to be rescued by helicopter multiple times:
