Nach dem Iran wird Israel die Türkei angreifen. Diese Abfolge Syrien, Irak, Iran und dann Türkei ist seit langem bekannt. Schon jetzt sprechen israelische Politiker von der Türkei als Bedrohung. Aber wie wird Israel versuchen, uns einen solchen Krieg gegen einen NATO-Mitgliedsstaat zu verkaufen? Und wird NATO-Artikel 5 ausgelöst?
Ich kann mir vorstellen, dass westliche Staaten in Sachen Israel nicht auf Seiten der Türkei eingreifen würden. Es würde versucht, die Türkei als Aggressor darzustellen und sicherzustellen, dass dieser Krieg nicht den Anschein erweckt, als sei er von Israel initiiert worden.
Israel pflegte in den letzten Jahren eine enge Zusammenarbeit mit dem griechischen Teil Zyperns. Für diejenigen, die es nicht wissen: Die Mittelmeerinsel Zypern ist in zwei Teile geteilt: einen südlichen Staat, der hauptsächlich von einer pro-griechischen Regierung regiert wird und von der EU und den Vereinten Nationen anerkannt ist; und ein nördlicher Teil, der von einer pro-türkischen Regierung regiert wird, nur von der Türkei anerkannt und von ihr militärisch geschützt wird.
Israel könnte hier versuchen, einen Konflikt zu provozieren, da dies die Türkei zum Handeln zwingen würde. Griechenland, Israel und Zypern kooperieren bereits bei ihren Aktivitäten im Mittelmeer und bauen militärische Beziehungen auf. Als der Iran-Israel-Krieg im Jahr 2025 eskalierte, stationierte Israel seine Flugzeuge vorübergehend in Südzypern, um sie vor iranischen Raketen zu schützen.
Würde die Türkei im Rahmen eines solchen Konflikts Südzypern angreifen, würde sie wahrscheinlich als Angreifer dargestellt und argumentiert, dass Artikel 5 der NATO nicht anwendbar sei. Die Türkei könnte schnell in einen Konflikt mit Griechenland, Zypern und Israel geraten und international isoliert werden. Das würde den Beginn eines größeren Krieges markieren.

Turkey and Israel are secret allies. I don’t think there will be a war between them.
According to some this may not go the way that the U.S. and Israel may have thought. This is going to be a logistics nightmare for the U.S. and Israel.
First the US casualties are higher than being reported. The ports are destroyed. There’s not enough ammo.

They don’t attack a country in a normal way. They will first make you hate turks, then turkish children, then civilization bringing greeks will “reverse turkish occupation”. Proxies are the backbone of Israeli “exterior politics”.
I don’t think most of greeks are willing to kill us -for now- but if they do, I have nothing but my eternal hate and resistance over them.
When greeks burn last of their churches and priests and turks burn last of their mosques with hodjas, there would be peace for sure. Greek church is richer than greek state. Turkish islamists are living their golden age thanks to moderate islamism endorsed and enxdocrinated by US.

Turks have manpower, NATO. etc etc. At this point if this happens Spain will definitely side with Turkey and blockade Mediterranean.
War might happen but without scandalous things happening like NATO outing Turkey because Trump says so..war might happen. But i don’t think Israel will have nothing to win here. Or Greece.

They were not on Wesley Clark’s list and they don’t appear as part of Greater Israel. So this is a red herring.
Israel would go the dagger and cloak route in regards to Turkey, they’d shadow support various rebel groups within the country and quietly destabilize Turkey from both within and out. There’ll never be a conventional war between the two nations because Israel is well aware that the cost would be to great.
