    1. Very cool product but it appears to only be available in Germany. I’ve reached out to their customer support to see if they plan on making International Shipping an option.

      Interesting. You can suppress the growth of Strep Mutans in the mouth with consistent use of xyliltol after meals. That in itself can drastically reduce tooth decay and it’s relatively inexpensive.

      As soon as this product is available outside of Germany, and they make versions for sensitive teeth, I’ll be switching. Time’s running out for my poor gums.

    4. The compound is called guanidinoethylbenzylamino imidazopyridine acetate. That’s a mouthful. 

    5. No independent study has shown that it reduces gum disease.

      It is far too early to draw any conclusions about preventing gum disease, by the nature of the condition it will take at least 1-2 decades to know if this is effective. At best it has demonstrated benefit for surrogate markers.

      Just floss and brush your teeth and you’ll ever have to worry about this.
