Preston, this guy is the consequences of *your* actions.
You, as much as anyone, bear responsibility for pushing Canadian conservatism down a path that resulted in our right wing becoming a branch plant for MAGA.
I’m still unsure as to why, or how, Rath has the mandate to do what it is that he’s doing.
Who voted for this guy?
I’m honestly not sure who is the worst overall person in this picture, overall. Rath has recency bias and is a gigantic piece of work that doesn’t deserve a soapbox, but Preston Manning is the guy that raised and released every single far-right chicken that’s come home to plague Canada over the past 30+ years.
Alberta and Canada as a whole would be much better off if both of them were never heard from again and their toxic brands of politics were extinguished.
