I wouldn’t cut Mad Max off in traffic even if I were rushing to get a woman in labour to the hospital. The guy is nuts.
He may not have the stuff that he used to, but that dude gets fired up on the mound and is a fount of knowledge for the rest of the staff.
This guy is by far my favorite ball player. I am so happy he’ll be a Jay for at least another year. Hopefully the boys can take home what they came SO close to taking home last year.
Blues Jays?
They started him in Game 7 of the World Series, of course he re-signed.
And he did everything they asked of him in the playoffs.
If they manage his workload well, and they have the starters to do that, he could make another big impact.
Plus, he’s like having an extra pitching coach. The guy’s a first ballot Hall of Famer.
