I’m just loving this new world order
Carney hasn’t taken questions from Canadian journalists since that one official said last week that India is no longer a threat, according to Robert Fife (G&M bureau chief).

This makes us look weak
Atrocious. This is unfortunately not a real country anymore. How can our prime minister go and tell the entire world that India murdered Canadian citizens on Canadian soil, which of course puts a pause on all possible ties—and then with absolutely no change being shown or even promised, we do this?
I know things are tough and need to be thought of with a different perspective, but this being the newly acceptable paradigm is gross.
Cause she knows something and she ain’t telling m.

I mean this is the same as Trump siding with Russia against FBI and US intelligence.
Too bad there aren’t any consequences for Mr. Carney.
We are willing to compromise and even overlook if someone is interfering in our democratic process and killing citizens
This sends a wrong message and sets a wrong precedent. It must be tough times that we badly need a trade deal to compromise on lives of Canadians.
It’s been years already, the government is compromised, and there isn’t a single adult in the room.
There really isn’t anything new to say about this issue that hasn’t been repeated, ad nauseum, for years now. It’s time we moved on

This deal shows you that all elites play the same game of power. The contract is great for business elites. Not great for Canadians who could be assassinated by foreign governments.

Seems like PR teams are paid to keep quiet and spin the narrative to isolate canada trying to strengthen ties with other countries.

We are weak. We cannot prevent these things from happening. The strategic thing for us to do would be to maintain status quo while increasing investment in internal prevention (intelligence, policing). We need more money to increase funding, so why not take it from the biggest perpetrators? If we see an enhanced ability to detect and prevent these things from happening develop, i can support this position.
What is crime compared to wage suppression. What is justice compared to wage suppression.
Wage suppression is our ultimate ideal and nothing will stand in the way.
